The Championship Shooting year has commenced.
CHAMPIONSHIP RULES FOR SSSBRC MEMBERS* A shooting week begins on the Sunday and ends on the following Tuesday.
* You can (and should) shoot prone & benchrest during the shooting week, & if you like, shoot both on the same day (time permitting) to record a score for that shooting week.
* In all cases, your FIRST card will be used to record your score for that discipline.
* Only ONE score per discipline will be recorded for the shooting week.
* If you wish your score to count towards the Club Championship, it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to ensure that you nominate a scoring shoot at the time of signing on for that day.
* The best 20 scores from a maximum possible of 44 scores will count towards the Championship for each discipline.
* Both disciplines will be shot on the official 50 metre card of the NSWSARAI. AWARDS and PRESENTATIONS* Prone club Championship: A, B, C, & D Grades – Trophies for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd.
*Benchrest Club Championship: A, B, & C Grades – Trophies for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd.
* SSSBRC Sporter Club Championship: Ungraded – Trophies for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd. (Only 15 shoots required to be considered.)
*Handicap Championships: Prone & Benchrest; Handicap 1st & 2nd in each discipline.
*Junior Champion Award: Prize awarded when appropriate. (Only 10 shoots required to be considered.)
*Quarterly Handicap Championships - Prone & Benchrest; Handicap 1st place only. *Most improved Senior & Junior - Prone & Benchrest.
*The Illawarra Open Prize Meeting: Prone & Benchrest in November as inside pages. *Gradings: Issued twice yearly, January & July, min. of 20 scoring shoots 20 annually required. At least 10 per grading period.

We shoot on Sunday mornings at 10.00am and Tuesday nights at 7.30pm, allowing members to grow in their abilities while making lasting friendships. Safety is our top priority, and we are committed to providing a positive and respectful atmosphere for all participants.
