FAQ’s
Q. I don’t have a license can I see if I like shooting?
A. Yes, you can utilize the P650 (NSW Police form) to try shooting, however you must comply with the criteria as listed on the form (see hyperlink), these forms are available at our club. https://www.police.nsw.gov.au/__data/assets/pdf_file/0006/805290/P650_Declaration_Application_Form.pdf.
Q. How much does a come and try shooting cost?
A. $50.00, that includes an experienced licensed coach, rifle hire and 25 rounds of ammunition.

Q. When are the come-and- try sessions conducted?
A. Sunday mornings at about 10.45pm.
Q. Do I need to book.
A. Yes, you need to contact the club prior to ensure we have all the appropriate personnel available. You will receive information about arrival time and other information then.
Q. I have a license but not a suitable rifle can I hire one?
A. Yes, for the small price of $3.00 you can rent a rifle.
Q. How do I apply for a firearm license?
A. Start by going to Service NSW, and follow the prompts. https://www.service.nsw.gov.au/transaction/apply-for-a-firearms-licence-individual
Q. How do I get complete the firearms Safety Course?
A. There are number of ways to get the certificate one is contact the Firearms Safety Council. https://firearmtraining.com.au/courses/pre-licence-qualification-course/
There you can complete and once you’ve successfully completed the online training, you can book and complete the mandatory practical session with a qualified firearms training instructor from our club.
Q. How much is it to shoot at your range if I am licensed but not a member?
A $30.00 Per shoot.
Q. How much is membership?
A. $224.00 PA for an adult or $192.00 for a retired person. A family rate is also available.
Q. What calibre of rifles are used at your range?
A. .22 calibre (Long Rifle) or air rifles. If you have new rifle not yet sighted in one of the experienced members can assist you.

Q. What type of rifle do I need to shoot at your club?
A. A .22 calibre bolt action rifle fitted with a telescopic sight or aperture sights.(If you are unsure one of the experienced members can assist you.)
Q. Can I use my own ammunition?
A. Yes, as long as its standard velocity ammunition (less than 1100 feet per second) and the packaging is clearly labelled. (the use of High velocity ammunition is not allowed)
Q. Do you have ammunition for sale?
A. Yes, we have suitable ammunition for sale at a reasonable cost.
Q. My rifle has a magazine can I use it?
A. No, the range rules only allow single round loading, however the magazine can remain the rifle.
